And that direction? Degeneracy. Now I understand anyone whose followed me might be thinking “Well what the fuck does that change?”, and that’s a fair question. But it’s moreso what I think I’m going to do is write more posts about random degenerate media that I think is interesting. Examples of this would include:
- Writing about random untranslated visual novels I’ve played and enjoyed. For example, I’ve been playing this game Extravaganza, and man. I got soooooooooooooo much I wanna say about it, and I have no idea if it’ll ever get an official English translation simply due to the fact that the content would make it illegal in places with “think of the cartoons” laws. But fuck I wanna talk about it because beneath all the nasty content is an interesting story with great building.
- Writing about random hentai OVAs. Back on my old blog I kinda did that once with Night Shift Nurses, and honestly, I could probably do with a rewatch of that series. And of other infamous OVAs like Boku no Pico, Bondage Game, and so on. If only because there’s some crazy fucking hentai out there that zoomer weebs need to learn about because zoomer weebs are delicate prudes who wear blindfolds when they shower/use the toilet.
- Not otaku related BUT, a while ago, I had a Livejournal blog under a completely name (it’s deleted now and has been for years) where I was chronologically going through movies on the Effedupmovies website, and reviewing both their quality and how “effedup” they actually where. That blog actually had a pretty good run, I remember doing over 100 movies before I decided to call it quits. Now agian, the only issue with doing that on this blog is that it’s not that otaku related (Even if there are some interesting fucked up Japanese movies I’d love to talk about), but maybe people would still be fine with it. Well, I suppose another issue is that there are some movies on there I really, REALLY, don’t want to revisit (‘Cause they suck), but whatever.
…And that’s it. So yeah, I want to write about degenerate fiction that catches my interest. The reason for this is simple. The world is becoming more aggressively pro-censorship and this is basically my own way of fighting against the bullshit. Yeah I know I’m not gonna change the world or anyone’s minds. But the idea that me consuming certain offensive media is enough for governments to think of me as a dangerous person is so fucking ludicrous that I feel like I have to just to spite a world I’ve lost complete faith in since 2020-2021. I’ve always struggled with understanding people, and I just need to accept that I am an evil person by the world’s standards and I should just spend my time on Earth engaging in evil acts like…watching degenerate hentai OVAs. Ooooooohhh, scary.
But yeah, I think this is the direction I’m going to start taking the website in. I don’t have much more to say beyond that.
